Naga City drug den smashed
COMBINED agents of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency and the Police Regional Office 5 smashed a notorious drug den in Naga City following an operation which led to the arrest of four top targets and the confiscation of more than P23,000 worth of shabu.
Officers from the PDEA under Director General Moro Virgilio M. Lazo and the Naga City Police Office under the PRO5 led by Brig. Gen. Andre P. Dizon conducted the raid at the drug dive located in Zone 4, Bgy. Triangulo in Naga City last Friday evening.
The four suspects were arrested during the operation, which resulted in the recovery of several plastic packets containing the drugs, and several drug paraphernalia.
In Vigan City, Ilocos Sur, PDEA Region 1 operatives arrested a top drug target identified as Viviana Velasco, 39, during a buy-bust operation on Thursday last week.
Recovered during the sting were six heat-sealed plastic sachets containing some 50 grams of shabu valued at P350,000 and the buy-bust money. The suspect’s motorcycle without plate number was impounded.
All arrested suspects are facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165 or The Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
