MWP Lemery fisherman collared for ‘rape’

JOINT police forces arrested a fisherman accused of multiple rape cases filed against him in Bagong Sikat, Lemery, Batangas the other day.

Lemery Municipal Police Station (MPS) Chief PMaj. Christopher C. Gaspar identified the accused as Noel Enriquez, 47, married, fisherman, and resident of Bgy. Sambal Ilaya, Lemery.

The accused is listed as the top 2 most wanted person (MWP) at the regional level in the case of two counts of rape, three counts of sexual assault, and several counts of acts of lasciviousness, according to Maj. Gaspar.

Gaspar said on March 29, at about 8:30 p.m. in Bagong Sikat, Lemery, joint Intelligence operatives of Lemery MPS (lead unit), Regional Mobile Force Battalion RMFB 4A 403rd Maneuver Company, 2nd Maneuver Platoon Batangas Provincial Mobile Force Company (BPMFC) 2nd Coy, Provincial Intelligence Unit (PIU) Batangas PPO, and Regional Intelligence Unit (RIU) 4A PIT Batangas conducted a police operation against the most wanted person that resulted in his arrest.

The warrants of arrest were all issued by Judge Mary Jane B. Valeza Maranan Executive Judge of Fourth Judicial Region of the Regional Trial Court Branch 5, of Lemery, Batangas with no bail recommended.

Upon arrest, the accused was brought to Batangas Provincial Hospital for medical and physical examination.
