LAUR, Nueva Ecija – The Nueva Ecija Police arrested the town’s most wanted person (MWP) during manhunt operations conducted in Quezon province on Thursday morning.
In his report to Police Regional Office 3 director Brig. Gen. Matthew P. Baccay, Nueva Ecija Police head Col. Jess B. Mendez identified the arrested suspect as Romy Dela Cruz, 55, of Bgy. San Antonio.
The suspect is listed as no. 14 in the list of the town’s most wanted persons.
Mendez said his men nabbed the suspect in Bgy. San Juan, San Narciso town by virtue of an arrest warrant for arson with a recommended bail of P120,000.
The suspect is now under the custody of the San Narciso Municipal Police for proper disposition.
“Lateral coordination with other police units was proven to yield fruitful results. I would like to commend my men for a job well done as they captured this most wanted person,” said Mendez.
