MPTC naghandog ng 7,000 vaccines
NAGBIGAY ang Metro Pacific Tollways Corporation (MPTC), ang toll road development arm ng Metro Pacific Investment Corporation (MPIC), sa pamamagitan ng subsidiary nito na Metro Pacific Tollways South (MPT South), ng aabot sa mahigit 7,000 doses ng COVID-19 vaccine sa limang local government partners nito sa Region IV-A.
“Ang pagbibigay ng mga COVID-19 vaccines sa mga komunidad ng CALAX at CAVITEX sa pamamagitan ng kanilang mga LGUs ay bilang pagsuporta ng MPT South sa recovery plan ng pamahalaan para ating maabot ang hinahangad na herd immunity laban sa COVID-19 dito sa Region IV-A,” ani Arlette Capistrano MPT South Spokesperson and AVP for Communication and Stakeholder Management.
Enero ng kasalukuyang taon nang simulan ng toll road company ang pakikipag-ugnayan at pamamahagi ng mahigit 140 vials (10-11 doses kada vial) ng company-procured na Moderna vaccines sa mga lokal na pamahalaan ng Parañaque sa Metro Manila; General Trias, Bacoor, at Silang, sa probinsya ng Cavite at sa bayan ng Biñan sa Laguna.
“I would also want to send my heartfelt gratitude for remembering Silang and the thousands of Silangueños that will benefit from your donation,” ani Silang Cavite Mayor Corie Poblete sa kanyang liham pasasalamat.
“We would like to take this opportunity to thank you and your company for your donation of 140 vials of Moderna anti-Covid booster vaccines. Your kindness and generosity will surely go a long way in our fight to contain the spread of COVID-19 and help us return to normal and productive lives,” ani Parañaque City Mayor Edwin Olivarez sa kanyang liham para kay Mr. Rodrigo Franco, President of Metro Pacific Tollways Corporation (MPTC).
Sinabi rin ng MPT South na 99 percent ng kanilang mga empleyado ay bakunado na laban sa COVID-19 at tuloy-tuloy rin ang booster shots ng mga ito, sa tulong ng MPTC at mga sister companies mula sa MVP Group of Companies.
Ang MPTC ay ang pinakamalaking toll road developer at operator sa bansa. Hawak nito ang concession para sa Cavite-Laguna Expressway (CALAX), Manila-Cavite Toll Expressway (CAVITEX), North Luzon Expressway (NLEX), NLEX Connector Road, Subic-Clark-Tarlac Expressway (SCTEX), at Cebu-Cordova Link Expressway (CCLEX) sa Cebu.
