CITY OF SAN FERNANDO, Pampanga – A 40-year-old rape suspect tagged as the city’s most wanted was arrested Friday during a manhunt operation.
In a report to Pampanga acting police director Col. Robin Sarmiento, the suspect was identified as Ronnel Atchico of Pandacaqui, Mexico, Pampanga.
Atchico was nabbed on Epza, Bgy. Pulung Cacutud, Angeles City, by joint elements of the Mexico MPS, CIDG CFU Angeles, CIDG PFU Pampanga, PIT Pampanga RIU 3, HPT Pampanga, PIB ACPO, PS3 ACPO and IDO 420TH SW PAF under the direct supervision of Mexico police chief Lt. Col. Grace Yerro Naparato.
The suspect was arrested for rape and two counts of rape by sexual assault based on a warrant issued by the Regional Trial Court Branch 45 of San Fernando City, Pampanga.
The Pampanga police vowed to sustain its intensified campaign to put wanted men in the province behind bars.
