WALA nang dapat ipag-alala ang fans ni Morissette dahil maayos na ang kalagayan niya matapos mag-post sa social media na naospital sila ng fiance niyang si Dave Lamar dahil sa Covid-19.

Matatandaan na ganito sinalubong ng singer ang 2022 sa Instagram: “2022 this is what’s up.

“For the past week, I was confined in the hospital since Sunday evening. both @davejlamar and I tested positive for Covid with mild flu-like symptoms, but I was admitted due to an issue in my colon called Diverticulitis. I had to take several IV medications which unfortunately triggered my super bad headaches then lead to vomiting.. I couldn’t even eat ’cause I’d just throw it all up. this weekend, I was finally discharged with lots of meds to take with and take note but grateful that I’m allowed to continue my quarantine and healing at home. thank God for DJ who was discharged earlier but stayed in the hospital room with me to keep me company, we would just play Pinoy Henyo (’cause it somewhat didn’t require me using a phone that also triggered my migraines) to pass the time. I’m still on the road to recovery but feeling a whole lot better now. thanks to my Titos @audiegemora @davidgesmundocosico@butchgjimenez @daffydocmo for helping us out during this whole process, and everyone for sending in their prayers!

Pero ngayon, up and about na nga ang tinaguriang Asia’s Phoenix at katunayan, humarap na siya sa virtual mediacon nu’ng Miyerkules ng first virtual concert niyang Phoenix na siya mismo ang nag-produce.

Swak ang napili ni Morissette na titulo ng kanyang 10th anniversary concert dahil mula sa pagkakaospital, eh, ’eto’t muli siyang sumasabak sa pagpe-perform.

Ayon sa belter, mild symptoms lamang ng Covid-19 ang tumama sa kanila ni Dave kaya sandali lang sila sa ospital at ngayon nga ay negative na sa kanilang tests.

Nagpaalala rin si Morissette sa publiko na dapat palakasin ang immune system at maging responsable sa pag-obserba ng minimum health and safety protocols lalo pa kung gaya niyang lumalabas dahil sa trabaho.

Sa ngayon, wala pang linaw kung kailan ang kasal nila ni Dave dahil nga sa panganib na dala ng Omicron variant.

Kaya naman subsob muna ang singer sa career. Hindi rin daw kasi biro ang maging performer at producer ng sariling concert.

Pero dahil ini-embrace na nga raw niya ang simbolo ng Phoenix (rising from the ashes), kumpiyansa si Morissette na malulusutan ang challenges nito para makapaghatid ng world-class performance sa fans.

“It’s like a reminder to everyone na kahit na anong obstacles ang nangyayari, tuloy lang. Let God handle the rest,” aniya.

Sa ilalim ng direksyon nina Ed Lacson at Jason Max, ang Phoenix ay mapapanood globally via streaming sa January 23 at 24 sa Ktx.
