ANOTHER lone bettor in Metro Manila became a millionaire after winning P71 million in the Super Lotto 6/49 draw on Tuesday night.

In an advisory on Wednesday, the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) said the lucky bettor guessed the winning combination of 44-05-17-48-13-43 with a jackpot of P71,360,581.

The ticket was purchased in Pasay City.

Meanwhile, 11 other bettors guessed five out of the six two-digit winning combinations and won P50,000 each, the PCSO said.

Around 562 bettors got P1,200 each for getting four of the winning combinations while 11,795 bettors won P50 each for guessing three right combinations.

The bettor can claim his/her cheque at PCSO’s main office in Mandaluyong City and present the winning ticket and two identification cards.

As provided under the Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion law, lotto winnings of more than P10,000 shall be subject to a 20-percent tax.

The 6/49 Super Lotto is drawn every Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday.

PCSO General Manager Royina Garma urged the public to patronize PCSO games to generate more funds for health programs, medical assistance and services, and charities.

Garma said through its mandatory contributions, the agency does not only help individuals in need of medical assistance but also provides funds to government institutions. By ARLENE RIVERA
