Mixed adjustments on oil prices bared
FOLLOWING a series of price increase of local petroleum products, motorists will experience mixed adjustments on pump prices effective today, Tuesday.
Major oil firms Pilipinas Shell and Petron Corporation imposed a P0.20 rollback on prices of gasoline products and an increase of P0.20 per liter of diesel while no movement of prices on kerosene effective at 6 a.m. Tuesday.
Chevron Philippines also implemented the same price adjustment at 12:01 a.m., Tuesday. Independent oil firm Clean Fuel carried out the same mixed adjustments at 8:01 a.m,
PTT Philippines, Total Philippines, Phoenix Petroleum, Petro Gazz, Unioil and Seaoil Philippines also implemented the uniform mixed price adjustments on their diesel and gasoline products effective at 6 a.m. Tuesday.
PTT Communication officer Jhay Julian said the price adjustment mainly reflects the movements in the international oil market.
