
Minor among 11 nabbed in Cabanatuan stings
CABANATUAN CITY — At least 11 suspected drug peddlers, including a minor, on Friday were arrested in separate stings in this city.
In a report to Police Regional Office 3 director Brig. Gen. Valeriano De Leon, newly-confirmed full-pledged provincial director Col. Jaime Santos said the intensified anti-illegal drug operations were conducted successively in four barangays, resulting in the arrest of six men, four women and a minor and the confiscation of shabu weighing 22.87 grams worth P155,516.
Santos said the biggest bulk of the drug haul came from a buy-bust operation conducted in Purok 3, Bgy. Bonifacio. His men led by Lt. Col. Barnard Danie Dasugo seized at least 15.3 grams of shabu worth P104,040 and arrested four suspects and a minor.
Nabbed were Ramon Joseph Jr. alias “Amang,” 57; Marilou Espinosa alias “Malou,” 51; Joselito Joseph alias “Joey,” 53, all of Purok 3, Bgy. Bonifacio; and John Peter Constantino alias “Jap,” 20, of Purok 4, Bgy. Imelda, all jobless, of this city.
In the second anti-illegal drugs operation, arrested were Ruel Padua alias “Rowel,” 51, a driver, of Purok Magallanes, Bgy. Cabu; Rolando Santos, 47, a tricycle driver, and Jeffrey Belmonte alias “Jeff,” 45, also a driver, both of Purok 1. Bgy. San Josef Sur.
The trio yielded some 5.5 grams of shabu worth P37,400 during a sting pulled off in Purok 5, Bgy. San Isidro.
Subsequent operations resulted in the arrest of three women during separate stings conducted in Purok 7, Bgy. Sangitan West at 8:20 p.m. and in Purok 4, Bgy. Aduas Sur at 8:30 p.m. of the same day.
Arrested were Mary Jane Bernaga alias “Ningning,” 43, of Purok 3, Bgy. Bantug Norte; Michelle Del Mundo alias “Potchi,” 41, of Purok 3, Bgy. San Juan ACCFA; and Imelda Villacrucis alias “Yuri,” 42, of Purok 4, Bgy. Aduas Sur, all of this city.
Seized from them were shabu, with a street value of P14,076.
