PHILIPPINE Charity Sweepstakes Office ( PCSO) announced that the medical and dental services at its satellite office in Manila were resumed by the agency on Wednesday, June 1.

PCSO General Manager Royina Marzan-Garma said the medical and dental services will be limited only to fully vaccinated individuals from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m,

“Dental check-ups and oral prophylaxis and referrals will be included provided that the proper protocol for the prevention of Covid-19 infection between patients and dental health personnel are strictly observed and will be on a ‘First Come, First Serve’ basis,” the PCSO advisory stated.

Garma said that providing equitable, efficient, and effective health care services, especially for the marginalized sectors is part of the mandate of PCSO and while the government issued moderate COVID-19 restrictions, it is the perfect opportunity to attend to the needs of Filipinos in dire need of assistance.

It is worth noting that a big chunk of the PCSO’s revenues goes to its charity programs.

In March 2020, the PCSO temporarily halted its out-patient services following the declaration of Public Health Emergency in the country due to the rise of Covid-19 cases.
