MC rider dies, others injured in Batangas road crash
ONE passenger was killed and several others injured after a motorcycle (MC) crashed into a wall while traversing Barangay Tambo Road in Lipa City, Batangas, at 1:00 a.m. Monday morning.
According to Lipa City Police, the fatality was identified as Christopher Medina.
The incident was reported by a concerned citizen at around 2:55 a.m.
Initial investigation revealed that the motorcycle was traveling towards Lipa City’s proper direction when it lost control and accidentally hit the concrete wall of a particular establishment in the area.
As a result, the unidentified motorcycle driver and all passengers identified as Patrick Isaac Panganiban, Gadwin Lescano, and Jaem Medina sustained grave injuries and were brought to Mary Mediatrix Medical Center for treatment.
The motorcycle driver was taken to Lipa Medix Medical Center, while Christopher Medina was taken to Lipa City District Hospital but was pronounced dead on arrival at about 2:16 a.m. on the same date by the attending physician.
