Mayor Pascual leads groundbreaking for housing projects in Nueva Ecija

NUEVA Ecija local officials led by Llanera Mayor Ronnie “Roy” Pascual spearheaded the groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of more than 3,000 housing units in Nueva Ecija under the flagship program of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr., “the Pambansang Pabahay Para sa Pilipino Housing (4PH) Program”.

The Marcos administration aims to build six million housing units and generate around 1.7 million jobs yearly from 2023 to 2028 and the construction of the thousands of housing units in Llanera, Nueva Ecija is part of the governments project to provide decent shelters to the millions Filipino people.

Mayor Pascual, together with Congw. Virginia Rodriguez, Congw. Mikaela Violago and Bgy. Capt. Grace Dinio attended the ceremonial groundbreaking of the housing project intended for thousands of beneficiaries in the Municipality of Llanera, Nueva Ecija.

Other local officials present during the ceremony were representatives from the Department of Education, Senior Citizens, LGU Family and the hundreds of supporters of PascualMoves.

In partnership with the Home Development Mutual Fund or Pag-IBIG Fund, the agency has released P200 million in developmental loans for housing projects under President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.’s flagship Pambansang Pabahay Para sa Pilipino (4PH) Program.

The 4PH-Project Management Office (PMO) of the Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development (DHSUD) said the loans were issued to two private contractors currently implementing 4PH projects in Luzon and Visayas.

More than 30 Pambansang Pabahay projects are ongoing throughout the country and currently in various stages of development and construction.

Mayor Pascual initiated the housing programs in Nueva Ecija to provide decent and affordable housing units in Llanera and nearby towns.

He is also coordinating with the National Housing Authority (NHA),to continue its efforts to complete other housing projects in the province of Nueva Ecija

A TEACHER Partylist nominee Ms. Rodriguez said that the government’s low cost housing project will benefit all the Filipino people, including farmers in far flung areas.
