Mayor Honey opens ‘MayniLove’ at Mehan Garden
MANILA Mayor Maria Sheila “Honey” Lacuna-Pangan led the grand opening of “MayniLove” at the Mehan Garden on Monday evening in time for the celebration of Valentine’s Day on February 14.
Mayor Lacuna said the project, which was started during the time of former Mayor Francisco “Isko Moreno” Domagoso, was launched as part of celebrating the love month of February, not only for lovers, but to all who shared their love to their friends and families.
The mayor said it has become a habit, not only in Manila, but anywhere in the world, to feel love during the month of February, especially during Valentine’s Day on February 14.
MayniLove was a project of the Bureau of Permits under the Manila Supports Local for Manileños to celebrate and experience the love month with joyful events at the Mehan Garden without much expenses.
The MayniLove project at the Mehan Garden is open to the public free of admission from 4 to 11 p.m. daily up to February 17.
