CALOOCAN City Mayor Dale Gonzalo “Along” Malapitan rewarded a total of P1 million pesos cash incentive for the new bar passers from the University of Caloocan City (UCC) during the Testimonial Ceremony of the UCC-College of Law held recently at the Bulwagang Katipunan, Caloocan City Hall-South.

Malapitan likewise congratulated the new lawyers, namely Atty. Verona Baladad, Atty. Roland Gregory Dictado, Atty. Misha Ela Ferrer, Atty. Rodrigo Manluctao Jr., Atty. Morris James Masalihit, Atty. Rey Martin Palisoc, and Atty. Maria Lyra Valdez, and expressed that the city government intends to work with them “towards building a better society.”

“Congratulations po at sa bagong kabanata ng inyong buhay, hiling ko po na tulungan niyo sana kami sa pagpapaunlad sa ating lungsod,” he said.

“Magkaroon kayo ng malasakit sa inyong kapwa, at higit sa lahat, maglingkod kayo nang tapat at ng buong kahusayan sa bawat Pilipino,” Mayor Along added.

Mayor Along also noted that UCC was recognized as the “Top 3” law school for those with ten or fewer takers in the recent Bar examination. He encouraged the new lawyers to excel with pride as products of the city’s very own university.

“Patuloy niyong bigyan ng karangalan ang University of Caloocan City at ang Lungsod ng Caloocan, dahil ang tagumpay niyo ay tagumpay ng bawat Batang Kankaloo,” the local chief executive stated.
