“I was just there for my mom the whole time because, you know, I didn’t want her to feel na just because she’s old, you know, she feels isolated, so, you know, the sense of family,” aniya.

Siyempre, iba pa rin daw na magkakasama silang lahat during these trying times.

“Especially we were stuck together for three years, you know, just the sense of family knowing na whatever happens, we’re there for each other. Good thing, wala naman pong nagkakasakit sa amin,” ani Papa P.

Same with Matteo. Aniya, walang health issues sa kanya o sa asawang si Sarah Geronimo at sa kanilang pamilya.

“We try to keep us as safe as possible, as careful as possible,” sabi ni Matteo na excited dahil magdiriwang sila ng second wedding anniversary ni Sarah today, Feb. 20.

Ibinahagi naman ni Ma’m Charo na unfortunately, ang asawa niya ay naglabas-masok sa ospital but the good news is okay na ito ngayon.

“He’s now in his best condition. So, hinarap ko ‘yung takot ko sa COVID. I was there with him every step of the way in his journey to wellness,” saad niya.

“So, if there’s one thing that I recognize and appreciate about myself is the inner strength and the sense of resilience that I have. So, huwag tayong matatakot. Let’s stay calm, let’s follow the rules.

Let’s listen to the experts and let’s just be guided by what our intuition says. And gagawin natin ang tama all the time.

“’Yun ang lumabas sa akin — the sense of resilience na kaya mong gawin lahat para sa mahal mo sa buhay,” patuloy pa ni Charo.

Samantala, sanib-pwersa sina Piolo, Matteo at Charo sa bagong campaign ng Sun Life dubbed “Partner in Health.”

The campaign consists of digital videos where they will talk about lessons from past experiences which paved the way towards their brighter future.

One of these is investing in their health. The videos will be shared on Sun Life’s Facebook page and YouTube channel.

Magkakaroon din ang Sun Life ng series of webinars (Safe Space) focusing on mental health to be conducted in collaboration with the Philippine Mental Health Association, Inc. (PMHA).

The pilot stream, titled Love ’em, Hate ’em, Stress ’em: Mental Wellness for the Family, will be held on April 9.

It will be followed by Imperfect Balance: How Mental Wellness Bridges Work and Life on May 14.

The series will close on June 18 with You are Worth It: Illuminating a Path towards Holistic Health.
