Masbate, Lanao del Norte local execs join Lakas-CMD

SOME local officials from the provinces of Masbate and Lanao del Norte have formally joined the fold of Lakas-Christian Muslim Democrats.

Among those who took their oaths before Lakas-CMD President Speaker Ferdinand Martin Romualdez was actor Roi Vinzon.

Masbate Gov. Antonio Kho, along with 12 members of the provincial board and 19 municipal mayors in tow, took oath as new Lakas-CMD members.

Likewise, former Lanao del Norte Rep. Abdullah Dimaporo and 14 mayors of the province also took their oath as new members of the party during the same event.

“Your decision to join our party manifests our shared commitment to serving the Filipino people with integrity, dedication, and unity,” the Speaker said.

Taking the oath with Kho were board members Sotero Cantela, Alfredo Alim, Rey Noel Amante, Kris Espinosa, Teddy Danao, George Gonzales, Allan Lepasana, Rudy Alvarez, Nilda Tinegra, Laurian Sia, Hannah Gonzales, and Eric Castillo.

They were joined by mayors of various municipalities of the province, namely Fernando Talisic (Esperanza), Mark Antonio (Pio V. Corpus), Eusebio Dumoran Jr. (Placer), Edgar Condor (Cawayan), Felipe Cabatana (Cataingan), Roscelle Eramiz (Palanas), Michael Demph Naga (Dimasalang), Felipe Sanchez (Uson), Raymundo Salvacion (Mobo), Natividad Magbalon (Milagros), Marites Dela Rosa (Baleno), Arturo Virtucio (Aroroy), Kristine Hao-Kho (Mandaon), Rodolfo Estrella (Balud), Zacarina Lazaro (San Pascual), Froilan Andueza (Claveria), Glenda Villa Hermosa (Monreal), Francisco Altarejos (San Jacinto) and Byron Bravo (San Fernando).

The new members of the party from Masbate also include several aspirants to various local posts — Marco Cam, Ansbert Son, former Governor Vincent Homer Revil, and Councilor Arturo Virtucio II, of Aroroy, Masbate.

Actor and film director Mark Angelo David Vinzon, professionally known as “Roi Vinzon,” was the lone new entrant to the party from the 1st District of Benguet province.
