The city of Manila received another award, this time as the “2021 Most Business-Friendly” local government unit, by no less than the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCCI) which bestowed the recognition on November 18.

Manila Mayor and Aksyon Demokratiko presidential bet Isko Moreno thanked the officials of PCCI and assured them and the public that the city will continue to create programs and projects that will benefit the business sector.

A general tax amnesty program was also declared in the nation’s capital to alleviate the hardships to business owners brought by the pandemic.

Meanwhile, Lacuna and the Manila Health Department headed by Dr. Poks Pangan started giving COVID-19 booster shots yesterday for the more than 1,200 fully-vaccinated health workers in the city.

Lacuna said the vaccination sites are the Universidad de Manila and the Aurora Elementary School.
