Manila gives COVID booster shots to delivery riders
MANILA Mayor and Aksyon Demokratiko presidential bet Isko Moreno and Vice Mayor Honey Lacuna led Thursday’s mass booster vaccination of food and various item delivery riders serving those ordering online within Metro Manila, with Lacuna herself administering the shots on some of them .
The activity was held at the Bonifacio Shrine’s Kartilya ng Katipunan.
Moreno and Lacuna, Manila Health Department chief Dr. Arnold Pangan, Manila Traffic and Parking Bureau Director Dennis Viaje, City Engineer Armand Andres and Dr. Ed Santos, chief of the Manila Emergency Operations Center supervised the said mass inoculation fro, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. of the delivery riders from Grab, Angkas, Lalamove, Shopee, Mr. Speedy, Food Panda and Lazada, among others.
