MAN WITH A HEART FOR THE POOR
Senator Lawrence “Bong” Go ties the shoe lace of one of the beneficiaries of rubber shoes in Calamba City, Laguna. Go visited Calamba City last Wednesday to personally lead the Assistance to Individuals in Crisis Situations (AICS) payout and the giving out of shoes, vitamins and gift packs to indigent Lagunenses held at the Calamba local government unit extension office in Halang, Calamba, Laguna. Two mountain bikes and a smart phone were also raffled during the event. The senator, who was accompanied by actor Philip Salvador, was warmly welcomed by Gov. Ramil Hernandez and wife Rep.
