TALAVERA, Nueva Ecija — An alleged notorious thief facing 28 counts of qualified theft charges was arrested during manhunt operations in Sta. Rosa town on Monday.

In a report to Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) director Brig. Gen. Valeriano T. De Leon, newly-assumed acting provincial police head Col. Rhoderick B. Campo identified the arrested suspect as Paul John Glean, 30, of Bgy. Malilion, Sta. Rosa, Nueva Ecija.

Campo said the suspect was tagged as Talavera’s number 10 most wanted man.

Elements of the local police led by Lt. Col. Heryl Bruno and the PIU-NEPPO collared the suspect on the strength of a standing warrant for 28 counts of qualified theft issued on July 1, 2021 by Judge Ronald P. Sandoval, of the municipal trial court-Sta. Rosa with a recommended bail of P336,000 for the accused’s temporary liberty.

The PRO3 chief lauded Campo and his men for a job well done and said that this arrested wanted person will now face prosecution and be made answerable for his alleged crime.

De Leon said the continuous manhunt operations are anchored on the Intensified Cleanliness Policy of Chief PNP General Guillermo Lorenzo T. Eleazar.
