Man stabbed dead on Batangas highway

A MAN was stabbed to death while he was standing on a street Sunday in Bgy. San Vicente, Sto. Tomas City, Batangas.

Sto Tomas City police chief Lt. Col Alfie Salang identified the fatality as Rodelio Sagario.

The suspect who fled after the incident was identified as Rodel Guci.

According to investigation, the victim was stabbed repeatedly in different parts of the body at around 6 p.m. on Maharlika highway.

Sagario died while undergoing trestment at the St. Cabrini Hospital.

Meanwhile Lipa City Police Station chief Lt. Col Lory Tarrazona said they nabbed the most wanted person for rape in Bgy. Tambo last Sunday.

Tarrazona identified the arrested suspect as Ruel Sancha.

The suspect was captured based on the report provided by the Barangay Information Network (BIN) asset for rape and violation of R.A. 7610, known as the Special Protection of Children Against Abuse, Exploitation and Discrimination Act.
