A 22-year-old man was shot dead while playing inside a computer shop Friday before dawn in Caloocan City.

Crisanto Arisme of Maligaya Park Subd., Bgy. 177 died on the spot from bullet wounds in the head and armpit while the still unidentified gunmen immediately escaped, along with their cohort who served as lookout, onboard three motorcycles towards an unknown direction.

Initial report reaching the office of Caloocan police chief P/Col. Samuel Mina showed that while the victim was playing inside a computer shop located along Sto. Nino de Maligaya St., Bgy. 177, two armed men suddenly barged inside at around 3 a.m. and without a word shot the victim in the head at close range.

Before leaving, the gunman pumped another bullet hitting the victim, who was already sprawled bloodied on the ground, in the armpit.

The victim’s father told homicide investigators that they have no idea why his son was killed since he had no known enemies.

However, investigation showed that the victim was allegedly once involved in illegal drug trade.

Elements of Caloocan Police Sub-Station 10 conducted a follow-up operation but they failed to identify and arrest the perpetrators.
