Man shoots step stepdaughter over teleserye
A MAN on Friday night shot his 12-year-old stepdaughter over a favorite television soap in Imus City, Cavite.
The Imus City Police Station identified the victim as Marian Angelica Fortoes while the suspect was her stepdad Reynaldo Managan, both of Blk.4, Lot 31, Molave St. Westwood , Bgy. Alapan 1-B, Imus City.
The victim’s mother, Michelle Palarca, told police that prior to the shooting, Reynaldo was watching his favorite teleserye at 7 p.m. on Friday.
Reynaldo got angry when the plug socket pulled out of the wall that interrupted his watching.
Reynaldo blamed Michelle until the live-in partners had a heated argument.
The fight became intense until the suspect got a gun and turned his ire on Marian Angelica.
The suspect shot the child and fled.
Neighbors helped Michelle rush Marian Angelica to the nearest hospital for treatment,
Police are hunting down Reynaldo.
