Man riding owner-type jeep shot in head
POLICE are investigating the killing of a man riding an owner-type jeep in Rosario, Batangas.
Rosario Municipal Police Station chief Maj. Carlo Caceres identified the victim as Nelson De Castro.
The victim was riding an owner-type jeep when approached by a man armed with a cal. 45 pistol and shot him in the head and the different parts of the body.
The gun attack occurred in Bgy. Macalamcam B, Rosario town at 7:45 a. m. on Tuesday.
Responding lawmen found at the crime scene five spent shell casings and three pieces of slugs for a cal .45 gun.
A dragnet operation was launched for the arrest of the gunman.
