Man killed in NE gun attack
A MAN buying at a sari-sari store yesterday was shot dead in Santa Rosa, Nueva Ecija.
In a report to Police Regional Office 3 director Brig. Gen. Jose Hidalgo Jr., the Sta. Rosa police identified the victim as Rodel Santa Maria, 38, of Bgy. La Fuente.
The victim on a motorcycle stopped in front of a sari-sari store in Bgy. Soledad to buy something when the unidentified suspect, wearing a white long sleeve shirt on a white motorbike, appeared from behind and shot Santa Maria several times before escaping.
Police are conducting an investigation to identify the suspect and the motive for the killing.
