Man held for cyber-crime in Ecija
SCIENCE CITY OF MUŇOZ – A 23-year-old-man was nabbed during manhunt operations Sunday for alleged violation of Republic Act 10175 or the Cyber-Crime Prevention Act of 2012.
City police head Lt. Col. Marlon Cudal identified the arrested suspect as Oliver Abon, single, of Bgy. Rang-ayan, this city.
Warrant officers led by Staff Sgt. Ricky Salamanca arrested the suspect 12 noon at his hideout.
Cudal said his men nabbed the suspect after securing an arrest warrant issued on July 19, 2021 by San Jose City Regional Trial Court Branch 39 Judge Cynthia Martinez-Florendo with P48,000 bail set for his temporary liberty.
The arrested suspect is now under police custody.
