Man gunned down while buying soda
PEÑARANDA, Nueva Ecija – A man buying soda drinks at a sari-sari store was gunned down by two unidentified motorcycle-riding men here on Wednesday night.
Police said the still unidentified victim sustained several gunshot wounds in different parts of the body that resulted in his instantaneous death.
The shooting incident took place in Bgy. Sto. Tomas at 8:30 p.m.
The victim had just bought soft drinks at a store when after several minutes, two men riding in tandem on a motorcycle arrived and shot the victim repeatedly and then fled towards the east direction.
Police are still conducting a follow-up investigation for possible identification and arrest of the suspects. By Steve A. Gosuico
