Magnitude 5.4 quake hits Davao Oriental
A MAGNITUDE 5.4 earthquake yesterday struck Davao Oriental, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said.
Phivolcs said the epicenter of the tremor was 118 kms. southeast of Tarragona, Davao Oriental.
The quake, which was tectonic in origin, occurred at 4:13 a.m. yesterday. It had a depth of 39 kms.,
No one was reported injured.
Aftershocks are expected, the state seismology said.
