LTO opens new license renewal hub in Caloocan
THE Land Transportation Office (LTO) opened on Friday its driver’s license (DL) renewal office (DLRO) in Zabarte Town Center and the Aragain ANM Medical Testing Center along Zabarte Road, North Caloocan City.
LTO-National Capital Region-West Director Roque “Rox” Verzosa III Christina said the LTO-DLRO Zabarte Town Center, said opening of the LTO-DLRO will provide convenience to thousands of drivers, not just in North Caloocan but even those in Quezon City as well, who want to renew their license not far from their place.
Verzosa said before the DLRO’s opening, drivers had to go to the Novaliches District Office or the LTO-DLRO Robinsons Novaliches to renew their licenses.
“Kagandahan po kasi kapag may mga DLRO lalo na ngayong may pandemic, hindi magiging crowded dun sa mga district offices, so ngayon pwede namin i-cater yung public po sa mas convenient way, easist way kasi yung mga malalapit po dito, dito na lang po sila pupunta. Hindi na nila kailangan lumayo,” said Verzosa.
The DLRO in Zabarte Town Center is located at the mall’s basement service lane.
Shortly after its opening, dozens of people who lined up as early as 7:00 a.m. to renew their driver’s licenses were catered to by the personnel of the LTO-DLRO.
“Definitely, ang pinakamalaking advantage po is nilapit na po ni LTO ang branch dito sa North Caloocan kasi parang mas magigjng madali na rin… It’s really a big opportunity for each and every fellow citizen of North Caloocan to renew their driver’s license. So, at least andito na po sa loob ng North Caloocan,” said Verzosa.
