NO Vaccine No Entry! is fully implemented, a ranking official of Land Transportation Office (LTO) announced.

The reminder was issued by Director Benjamin Santiago III of LTO-National Capital Region-East in compliant with the strict order of Transportation Secretary Art Tugade and Assistant Secretary and LTO chief Edgar Galvante to strictly enforce the no vaccine, no entry, no transaction/no registration or renewal of driver’s license in the areas of responsibility of LTO-NCR-East, in the 1st day of the implementation of the policy.

“Ito naman ang concern nating lahat, in our part as frontliner agency at the same time public servants we comply and obey what the best for us to be safe all,” said Santiago.

Dir. Santiago appealed to the public to do the same comply and obey the new policy of DOTr-LTO to avoid confusion, inconvenience, and probably lengthy discussion if they are put on hold by our frontliners in the gates.

Santiago also advised the public to ensure before they proceed to any LTO offices in LTO-NCR-East make sure they have brought their vaccinated cards to avoid delay and question.

“One thing more wala po tayong rush-rush ngayon… 30 percent lang po ang ating personnel magbaon po ng maraming pasensiya dahil kahit gusto po naming bilisan ang trabaho, slow po tayo dahil na rin sa undermanned po ang lahat ng aming offices bilang pagsunod sa utos ng DOTr at LTO leadership,” said Santiago III.

“Ulitin ko po, Let’s All Be Safe! Kaya No NCR-East”, said Santiago.

Recently, the leadership of LTO-Central Office temporarily stopped the operations of the agency from January 5 to 17, 2022 following the report that numbers of their personnel were infected by the virus.

Normal operations resumed Monday, January 17, 2022 after two weeks of quarantine.
