LTO-NCR head welcomes Villacorta’s appointment
LAND Transportation Office – National Capital Region (LTO-NCR) director Roque Verzosa warmly welcomed the appointment of Atty. Hector Villacorta as officer-in-charge of the agency as he promised that all the programs he is going to implement in the region will be based on the wisdom of the higher offices.
Transportation Secretary Jaime Bautista in a special order tapped Villacorta to replace Assistant Secretary Jay Art Tugade who resigned as LTO chief citing differences of methods with the mother unit.
Villacorta, the DOTr’s Assistant Secretary for Communication and Senator Vicente “Tito” Sotto’s former chief of staff, assumed office on June 1 following simple turnover rites at the LTO Central Office.
