ANTIPOLO City Mayor Andrea “Andeng” Ynares said the Light Rail Transit 2 – Antipolo Station is set to be inaugurated on Friday (July 1).

Expected to grace the event are officials from Malacanang, Department of Transportation and the Antipolo LGU.

Ynares said the start of operations of the LRT 2- Antipolo Station is expected to benefit workers and passengers of LRT-2.

The opening of the LRT2 Antipolo Station is expected to decongest traffic in the area, particularly in Masinag, Antipolo City.

The scheduled opening of the LRT Masinag Station last June 23 was postponed by LRTA administrator Reynaldo Berroya to complete the “signaling migration” and “integration” to ensure zero problems.
