Lolo found stabbed in head in Bacolod home
A 73-YEAR-OLD man was found dead while his 9-year-old grandson was seriously injured in knife attack in Bacolod City.
Slain was Aurelio Rull, a former barangay tanod, and a resident of Kalantas, Abada-Iskay, Bgy. Vista Alegre, Bacolod City.
His grandson is under observation at the hospital.
The victims were sleeping when attacked by an unidentified suspect.
A neighbor said they heard a loud cry of Rulls’ grandson at 3 a.m. on Tuesday.
The neighbors rushed to the victims’ house and found the old man, with a knife stuck on his head, and the boy bleeding from stab wounds.
It was learned that the father of the child is detained in Muntinlupa.
An investigation is ongoing to the identify the suspect and determine the motive for the killing.
