Lolo collared for rape in Cavite
CAMP BGEN VICENTE LIM, Canlubang, Laguna – A 63-year-old no. 1 rape suspect in Batangas was captured by joint operatives in his hiding place in Bgy. Navaro, General Trias City, Cavite the other day.
In a report to PBGen. Eliseo DC Cruz, Regional Director PRO Calabarzon by PCol. Glicerio C. Cansilao, provincial director of Batangas PPO, said the suspect identified as Loreto Bayborda De Leola.
De Leola, the no. 1 most wanted rapist in regional level and ranked no. 4 in Batangas was cornered in his residence around 8:30 p.m. on February 1 by combined forces of Tuy Municipal Police Station led by PMaj. Gabriel Aniag Unay, Officer-In-Charge, Intel Operatives of Cavite PMFC led by PLt. Col. Alladin G. Tamayo, Force Commander CPMF, Regional Intelligence Division (RID) 4A, Patrol Investigation Team (PIT) Batangas, and operatives of General Trias and Trece Martires CPSs.
He was arrested on the strength of a warrant of arrest issued by Judge Carolina F. De Jesus of Balayan, Batangas on January 20, 2016, and without corresponding bail.
The suspect was charged with three counts of rape Article 266-A Revised Penal Code as amended by RA 8353 (Anti-Rape law) and is currently under the custody of the Tuy Municipal PS.
“Violation of the importance and rights of women is not normal or justified because our desire is to protect and promote their welfare.” PCol. Cansilo said.
