LGU opens Cavite City Animal Center
CAVITE CITY – The local government unit recently opened the newly-constructed Cavite City Animal Center in Cajigas Extension at the back of Cavite City Police Station and Cavite City Public Market.
Mayor Denver Chua and Vice Mayor Raleigh Rusit, along with Dr. Anna Teresa Baleda, City Veterinary Office head, led the blessing and inauguration of the new animal hub in the city.
Chua said the animal hub will house the City Veterinarian’s Office, Animal Pound and Pet Adoption Center and vaccination center for pets.
The Animal Center has a surgery area inside, with ample parking space for visitors.
