During the first day of the national canvassing, Macalintal made the manifestation informing the National Board of Canvassers (NBOC) that they will no longer file objections on the certificate of canvass (CoC).

Robredo’s team also waived its appearance before the joint canvassing committee.

“Consistent with such pronouncements by VP Leni and so as not to delay the proceedings of this board, we would like to make of record our continuing manifestation that we interpose no objection to the inclusion in the canvass of all the COC for president,” Macalintal said.

“And with that continuing manifestation, may we be allowed to respectfully waive our appearance before this joint committee to further expedite this proceedings,” he added.

Macalintal said VP Robredo earlier told her supporters to accept the result as well as the will of the people.

Robredo said as quoted by Macalintal.

Meanwhile, the camp of Manila Mayor Isko Moreno Domagoso also accepted the will of the majority.

Through his lawyer Rizalina Romero, Mayor Isko said they are no longer objecting to the canvassing.
