Nagsalita na ang kampo ni Neri Miranda hinggil sa kasong kinasasangkutan ng dating aktres.

Ipinost ng ABS-CBN News sa Instagram ang ipinadalang statement ng legal team ni Neri at kinumpirma nito na hindi na-inform beforehand ang kanilang kliyente sa kanyang kaso.

Matatandaang sinabi ng mister ni Neri na si Parokya ni Edgar vocalist Chito Miranda na basta na lang nagkaroon ng warrant of arrest ang asawa. Hindi man lang umano sila nakatanggap ng notice o subpoena tungkol sa kaso.

“In compliance with the sub judice rule, we are unable to make any statements on the cases pending against Neri Miranda before the courts. It is unfortunate that Neri was not informed of the charges against her beforehand, as we would have been able to properly explain her side even before this reached the courts,” ang simula ng statement ng legal team ni Neri.

Nakasaad din na nagkaroon na ng similar cases si Neri at na-dismiss na itong lahat. Kumpiyansa naman sila na mapapawalang-sala ang kanilang kliyente.

“We note, however, that similar complaints filed against her in other venues have already been dismissed. We are confident that Neri will be vindicated of these charges through proper judicial processes.

“We appreciate the heartfelt support that Neri has received from numerous individuals in the press and on social media,” pahayag pa ng legal counsel ni Neri.

Magugunitang inaresto ang dating aktres sa bisa ng warrant of arrest last Nov. 23 dahil sa kasong syndicated estafa at 14 counts of violation of the Securities Regulation Code na isinampa ng mga investor ng Dermacare-Beyond Skincare Solutions.

Kasalukuyan pa ring nakakulong si Neri sa Pasay City Jail Female Dormitory. Nag-file na ang kanyang legal team ng motion to quash at sa January 9, 2025 pa naka-schedule ang kanyang arraignment.
