PRESIDENT Ferdinand Marcos Jr. will give presidential citations to all Filipino athletes who participated in the 2024 Paris Olympics.

Reichel Quiñones, Chief of Presidential Protocol, said the President will give the Presidential Medal of Merit to two-time 2024 Paris Olympic gold medalist Carlos Yulo.

Presidential citations will be awarded to bronze medalists Aira Villegas and Nesthy Petecio.

“Simple but meaningful program,” said Quinones.

Presidential Communications Office Assistant Secretary Dale de Vera said the

President will give cash incentives to Yulo and the other athletes.

Yulo and other athletes are expected to arrive in the country at 6 p.m. Tuesday, August 13.

Quinones said a special program will be held at the Malacañang Palace for the athletes and will be welcomed by the President and First Lady Liza Marcos.
