‘Land a Job Fast’ held for CvSU-GenTri new grads
GENERAL TRIAS CITY (GenTri), Cavite – A total of 386 graduating coeds of Cavite State U (CvSU)-General Trias campus attended the event job matching program of the Public Employment Service Office (PESO) and local government of General Trias City on Wednesday, May 24, 2023, held at the Robinsons Place GenTrias activity center in Barangay Tejero here.
Mayor Luis “Jon Jon” Ferrer IV, Vice Mayor Jonas Labuguen, and GenTri PESO head Carol Beltran led the processing of 253 female and 133 male registered applicants who attended and participated in the city’s job fair.
As many as 23 companies participated in the “Land a Job Fast” (LJF) Job Fair for local and overseas employment for graduating college students this year, aside from the PhilHealth (Philippine Health Insurance Corporation) and SSS (Social Security System) booths.
“This program, [through] our local government, [is to make sure] that they can quickly find a job after they finish their college,” Mayor Ferrer said.
The leadership of CvSU-General Trias Campus, led by Prof. Marilou Luseco, campus administrator, thanked the GenTri local government for helping the graduating students.
