A lady drug pusher said to be a notorious supplier of shabu in Metro Manila and two of her “clients” were nabbed in a Simultaneous Anti-Criminality Law Enforcement Operation conducted inside the Manila North Cemetery in Sta. Cruz, Manila the other night.

Manila Police District-Police Station 3 commander PLt. Col John Guiagui said the operation resulted in the confiscation of 25 grams of shabu with a street value of P170,000 and the arrest of suspects Aysha Salik, 26, of Cotabato City and with address in the metro at 919 Quezon Boulevard, Sta. Cruz, Manila, and Angelita De Paz, 38, of 127 Tagaytay St., Caloocan, and John Mark Zapata, 35, a tricycle driver, of Caloocan City.

Guiagui said the operation was conducted at around 11:30 p.m. after an informant told him that shabu was being sold inside the cemetery, particularly at the corner of 2nd and 30th streets.

When police arrived, Salik was caught in the act of transacting with De Paz and Zapata.

Salik was charged with violation of Republic Act 9165 Sections 5 and 11 for which no bail was recommended while Zapata and De Paz were charged with illegal possession before the Manila Prosecutors’ Office.
