Laborer wanted for ‘rape’ nabbed in Calamba
A 22-YEAR-OLD construction worker wanted for rape was arrested and ranked no. 7 most wanted person of Police Regional Office (PRO) in Calabarzon (Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal, Quezon).
Officer-in-Charge (OIC) Provincial Director Police Col. Cecilio Ison Jr. reported to Calabarzon Regional Director PBGen. Antonio C. Yarra the successful arrest of suspect Jhon Aljhone Esmas, of Bgy. Kayanlog, Calamba City, Laguna
Calamba City Police Chief PLt. Col. Arnel L. Pagulayan said the suspect was arrested in a manhunt operation at about 11:40 a.m. at Bgy. Real, Calamba City.
The operation was conducted by virtue of a warrant of arrest for the crime of rape with no bail recommended issued the Family Court Branch 8, Calamba City, Laguna.
The rape suspect is currently in the custody of Calamba Police while issuing court will be informed of the arrest.
PCol. Ison Jr. said “Hindi po namin hahayaang makapagtago sa batas ang mga kriminal sa lalawigan ng Laguna. Where they hide doesn’t matter, I assure that we will find them at all cost.”
