SUBIC — Michael Kramer and Nicole Andaya shone brightest in the fifth My Daily Collagen Triathlon: Where Stars Are Born at the Boardwalk Waterfront Road here Sunday.

Kramer claimed top honors in the Standard Distance Male 30-34 category after recording a total time of 2:16:58 — 25:04 in the swim, 1:13:28 on the bike, and 38:26 in the run in the event held on a beautiful course overlooking the Zambales mountain range.

Anthony Oscar Llaguno placed second with a time of 2:24:32 (31:35 in the swim, 1:12:58 on the bike, and 49:59 in the run), while Juan Jaime Rivera secured third with a time of 2:37:19 (32:09, 1:16:27, and 48:42).

Sharing the limelight was Andaya, representing the Usuals team who clocked 30:27 in the swim, 1:18:01 bike time, and a 49:51 run to finish with 2:38:19 in the Standard Distance Female 30-34.

Alou Lopez came in second with a total time of 3:02:30. (38:45 in the swim, 1:24:33 on the bike, and 59:11 in the run) and Claudine Mendiola wound up third with total time of 3:05:40 (39:22 in the swim, 1:30:20 on the bike, and 55:58 in the run).

.With beautiful weather, around 400 participants took part in the event with the theme “Where Stars Are Born.”

“We’re very thankful na naging safe and successful ang event,and all athletes made it. The race was very smooth and very enjoyable. Hindi nahihirapan ang mga participants at very organized,” said Anna Perez, President and Chief Executive Officer of My Daily Collagen.

“Every year, we keep on improving. We keep on making a better event for the triathletes,” added Perez.

Oliver Salas, Chief Sales Officer of My Daily Collagen, shared Perez’s optimism.

“Overall, it’s a huge success not just for My Daily Collagen but also to the whole triathlon community. It was literally a star-studded triathlon event,” said Salas.

“We are very elated with the results as everything went according to our plan and preparations. Special mention to the members of our team for their effort, and SBMA tourism office and Law and Enforcement Department for their support and assistance,” added Salas.

Salas also shared the future plans for the My Daily Collagen.

“We will continue to inspire them by offering more events like this that would give them more reason to stay healthy and active. Our next event will be on April for the country’s first ever Sundown Aquathlon to be followed by My Daily Collagen Super Duathlon this July 2025,” said Salas.

Dash Ramos of Baguio Tri Coaching topped the Male 18-19 category, completing the race in 2:03:49 with splits of 22:44 in the swim, 1:05:44 on the bike, and 35:21 in the run.

Edrienne Donel Gaerlan finished second in 2:37:51 (26:05 swim, 1:21:28 bike, 50:19 run), while Jean Kurt Alexander Lim of Infinite Multisport placed third in 3:08:09 (35:18 swim, 1:24:03 bike, 1:08:48 run).

In the Male 25-29 category, Nikolai Kian of The Usuals took the top spot with a time of 2:22:55, recording 33:10 in the swim, 1:07:42 on the bike, and 42:03 in the run.

Anthony Cunningham of Rockstar Gold Tri and Arvin Reynoso finished second and third, respectively.

Alexandra Eliesse Ansay of It’s Southerday Run Club emerged victorious in the Female 25-29 category, finishing in 3:07:06 with splits of 38:11 in the swim, 1:27:59 on the bike, and 1:00:56 in the run.

Stephanie Romualdez of TSL Triathlon and Kathleen Talag of Infinite Multisport took second and third place, respectively.
