‘Kidnap’ victim found in Laguna
A 30-YEAR-OLD possible kidnap victim was found Sunday morning at Bgy. Banca-Banca, Victoria, Laguna.
At about 5:45 a.m. an officer of Victoria Police received a cellphone call from personnel of PIDMU, augmenting personnel of Victoria in connection with the National Election 2022.
The BPSO (barangay public safety officer) of Bgy. Banca-banca, together with Mark Anthony Arbis and Joel Gonzales, turned over a suspected kidnapped victim named Xu Bo, 30, after it was spotted inside the backyard of a civilian’s house.
The said foreign national was scared and in a state of shock when the said civilian saw him, his worn t-shirt was covered with bloodstains, his body incurred injuries in his back and both knees, and his both hands and ankle were fastened with a white cable tie.
The victim does not know how to speak English, and an investigation was still ongoing on how the foreign national reached the said barangay.
