Kid killed, 3 hurt after truck fell into house in CamSur
A CHILD was killed while three others were injured when an elf truck fell into their house in San Fernando, Camarines Sur.
The Camarines Sur Police Station said the fatality was a 3-year-old boy, whose name was being verified, while the injured were his 5-year-old sibling, and parents Robert Visaya, 27, and Giraby Visaya, 26, of Zone-4 Bgy. Del Pilar, San Fernando town.
The Visayas were sleeping when the incident happened.
An investigation showed Arthuro Valenzuela, 54, of Batangas City was driving a mini truck when hit by an elf truck driven by Enrico Lacuin, 36, of Sorsogon City that came from the opposite direction.
Probers said the elf truck overtake another vehicle and took the lane of the incoming mini truck that caused the collision.
After colliding with the mini truck, the elf truck fell into the side of the road and landed into the victims’ house.
Responding lawmen arrested the truck driver.
