Asia’s Vocal Supreme Katrina Velarde transcended international airwaves in her collaboration with the multi-awarded American vocal group 98 Degrees on the re-release of their hit single, “I Do (Cherish You).”

It was Katrina’s impressive song covers which led her to become an online sensation that captured a wide array of audiences both in the Philippines and internationally.

Renowned for her remarkable impressions of other artists and her iconic comb that dubbed her as the Suklay Diva, the powerhouse singer now showcased her biritera skills in her own rendition of the famous 98 Degrees big seller but with Tagalog lyrics.

“I Do (Cherish You)” was written by Keith Stegall and Dan Hill and was first released in 1988 by country music artist Mark Wills.

In 1999, the 90s boy band 98 Degrees, consisting of members Nick and Drew Lachey, Jeff Timmons and Justin Jeffre, released their cover of the song, which peaked at #13 on the Billboard Hot 100.

The Taglish version of the song is now available on 98 Degrees’ Spotify and YouTube channels.
