K-lite 103.5 FM, the flagship radio station of Advanced Media Broadcasting System, Inc. (AMBS), goes live in its new home studio at the Level 2 of Starmall Shaw Boulevard in Mandaluyong City.

A popular FM radio station since 1995, K-Lite hits the airwaves with an expansive genre of rhythmic contemporary music hits from the ’90s up to the present.

“This marks the beginning of our venture into the entertainment business. We only look forward to recovery, especially after the pandemic, and we hope to be able to help our fellow Filipinos through this venture particularly in generating jobs. I’m proud and grateful at the same time,” says Manny Villar, Villar Group chairman.

Listeners can enjoy the OG funk of the ’90s vibe up to recent hits via 103.5FM on the radio and may also view live streams on channel 3 of Planet Cable TV in parts of Mega Manila and Region 4 Calabarzon subscribers.

Followers from anywhere around the world can also tune in and stream live online through its website klite1035.com.ph or by downloading the Twitch app.

It features the voices of two in-house disc jocks DJ Jaybee Jariol and DJ Aly Esplana.

DJ Jaybee, one of the original DJs of K-lite who recently made a comeback in April this year, brings us her daily dose of lite favorites daily from Mondays to Fridays, 9 a.m. to 12 noon.

DJ Aly, on the other hand, a newbie radio talent and a certified streamer slash gamer, is the latest voice to jam during rush hour afternoons daily from 5 to 9 p.m. weekdays.

K-lite’s comeback also includes a fresh format of a youth-inspired line-up as it opens exciting promotions such as the search for the next “K-lite Kampus Krew” open for all qualified students looking for an internship program and the “DJ Kampus Hunt,” open to aspiring voice talents aged 18-25.

Mechanics for the said promotions are found on K-lite socials on Facebook, Youtube and Twitch.

Meanwhile, the station’s Tiktok page also hosts the “Do It, Duet Challenge” where participants can stitch their duet entry to DJ Jaybee’s sample for the student DJ search.

Listeners can also enjoy their favorite hits on “’80s Wednesday” and relax on the soothing playlist of Sunday slow weekends.

Followers may also catch their favorite artists in live performances on a live jamming segment recently graced by The Lily band, Ronnie Liang, Rachel G and Silent Sanctuary.

K-Lite’s regular programming is heard 6 a.m. to 12 mn, Mondays to Sundays.
