A JOBLESS woman was shot dead while standing in front of her house Wednesday evening in Caloocan City.

Maria Theresa Santiago, 47, of Phase 5 Package 5, Block 21, Lot 13, Barangay 176 Bagong Silang sustained several gunshot wounds in the body, killing her instantly, while the two suspects, identified only as alias “Puke” and alias “Buluktoy” immediately escaped on foot.

Report reaching the office of Caloocan Police chief P/Col. Samuel Mina showed that while Santiago, together with her housemate Elizabeth Rota, 36, were in front of their house at around 7 p.m., the suspects, armed with unknown type of firearms appeared and shot the victim several times hitting her in different parts of her body.
