Jobless MWP nabbed for rape in Laguna
A JOBLESS man ranked as the 5th most wanted person for an alleged sex abuse incident on a chikd in Laguna was arrested in a police operation in Bgy. Binan, Pagsanjan, Laguna.
Laguna Police Acting Provincial Director, Police Colonel Cecilio Ramos Ison Jr. in a report to Calabarzon Regional Director, Police Brigadier General Antonio Candido Yarra, identified the arrested suspect as Dionicarr Aligarbes, single, of Bgy. Poblacion 3 Sta Cruz,Laguna.
Sta Cruz police nabbed the suspect on the strength of a Laguna a warrant of arrest for acts of lasciviousness issued against the suspect on April 18, 2022 by the Family Court, Branch 6, Santa Cruz, Laguna, witha P400,000 bail recommended for his provisional liberty.
Based on the report of the Santa Cruz police, the accused allegedly sexually abused the victim twice in December 2021 in Sta Cruz. He is now under the temporary custody of the Sta Cruz police.
“With our intensified operations against criminality, we have arrested the accused despite being elusive for four months. We urge parents and guardians to ‘always keep a careful watch’ over the safety of their minor children especially female minors who are vulnerable to sexual abuse,” said P/Col Ison.
