What happens when a scaredy-cat and his friends decide to spend their semestral break on a haunted house?

This Sunday, October 31, witness how three best friends survive a disastrous staycation in the Halloween special of GMA Network’s award-winning weekly magical anthology Daig Kayo ng Lola Ko, Scarecation.

Eloy (Joaquin Domagoso), a certified scaredy-cat who often falls victim to his friends Roy (Jerick Dolormente) and Miko’s (Jamir Zabarte) pranks, agrees to celebrate their semestral break in a rented ancestral house and swim in the beach nearby.

But expectation versus reality strikes when contrary to the photos posted online, the residence appears to be run-down, and the caretaker (Pekto) is sporting a creepy, hermit look.

The much-awaited trip takes a turn for the worse when the three boys get stuck inside the old house without electricity because of a typhoon, and a mischievous ghost starts haunting the gang after playing a game of “spirit of the glass” in a ruse to scare Eloy.

Will the boys make it out of this ‘scarecation’? Will Eloy remain a coward, or will he dare confront the ghost that terrorizes his friends?

This Halloween special also features Yasmien Kurdi as Flora and Liezel Lopez as Lily.

“Friendship is not just about road trips, making each other laugh, at kuwentuhan.” Joaquin explains as he shares his most important takeaway from their story. “It’s about making each other better people and being there when they need you the most.”

The actor also expresses his enthusiasm having to work with his co-stars Jerick and Jamir once again, “Sobrang happy po ako na kasama ko po sina Jerick at Jamir. Naging close po kami through past projects, from First Yaya at Flex, respectively. At dahil sa taping nito, nakapag-bonding din kami, practising lines, kuwentuhan, food trip, at nabiktima pa ako sa prank nila.”

Catch this chilling episode of Daig Kayo Ng Lola Ko presents Scarecation – under the helm of director Rico Gutierrez – this Sunday, 7 p.m., after 24 Oras on GMA-7.
