Jeep passenger dies in Alitagtag road mishap
ALITAGTAG, Batangas – A male passenger was killed after he was thrown out of a passenger jeepney when its driver accidentally lost control of the vehicle which hit the street gutter in Bgy. Dominador West.
Alitagtag town police investigators identified the fatality as Jayson Magdatu Morada.
The driver was immediately arrested.
Initial investigation showed the passenger jeepney (DXL 249) was traversing the national highway in Bgy. Dominador West at around 3:30 a.m. when the driver accidentally lost control of the steering wheel.
The jeepney then swerved to the right andhit the sidewalk causing Magdatu to fall off the vehicle.
Magdatu was pronounced dead on arrival at the Polymedic Hospital Taal in Batangas by Dra. Hilda Marie Villostas.
